The Eureka Tetragon 8 Tent is an extremely affordable 4 person dome tent from Eureka. Like its smaller brothers the Eureka Tetragon 5 (2 person), the Eureka Tetragon 7 (3 person), it’s designed as a 3 season tent and comes with a twin track, brim covered door (side opening), a brimmed rear window, dual vents, and Eureka’s renowned StormShield technology. This allows for all weather protection as well as suitable ventilation for the warmer seasons. Furthermore, the Tetragon 8 Fly comes with external guy points to help secure your tent in high winds.
The Eureka Tetragon 8 Tent is also very roomy, with a floor area of 64 square feet and a center height of 5 feet. Any Problems With The Eureka Tetragon 8 Tent?
The Eureka Tetragon 8, like the Tetragon 5 and Tetragon 7 offers great value for its small price tag. We don’t like the heavy weight (nearly 9 pounds) for backpacking, but this is a great car camping tent. This is a lot of tent for the price, and the trade off is that you won’t get the advanced materials and engineering required to really minimize the weight.
Another small issue we had with the Tetragon 8 is that the included guy lines are fairly flimsy, but this is easily resolved by buying your own cords and rigging them up how it best suits you.
Do we recommend the Eureka Tetragon 8 Tent?
Overall we were very impressed with this tent. For more serious backpackers looking to spend a serious amount of time outdoors, we would recommend investing in a more lightweight, premium tent like the Kelty Gunnison 4.1 Tent.

Extremely well vented, there was no condensation on the inside of the tent in the morning. This is my third Eureka tent, I have been pleased with all of them and only had one fail and it was 20 years old. I would highly recommend this tent.
